Our client is an oilfield service company specializing in hydraulic fracturing and cementing.


LOCATION


Fort Worth, Texas


REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS


This position will report to the Chief Administrative Officer.


SPECIFIC DUTIES


Specifically, the Director, Human Resources will:


• Identify and research human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.

• Translate strategic and tactical business plans into HR operational plans and manages the execution thereof

• Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance

• Negotiate benefit plans/rates, ensure governmental compliance, review budget vs. actual cost, and ensure timely renewal and enrollment in chosen plans; manage relationship(s) with benefits provider(s)

• Implement salary levels, manage established bonus plans, and monitor company compensations levels to maintain a competitive pay position within the industry and appropriate geographic labor markets

• Establish and maintain an effective and efficient HR Information System and payroll process, providing the necessary reporting and connection to the accounting system

• Ensure regulatory compliance including EEO requirements. Complies with OSHA, DOT and ERISA regulations

• Perform such individual assignments as the CAO may direct; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

• Accomplish special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction

• Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.

• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

• Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

• Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS


The Director, Human Resources must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study. This individual should have 10 to 15 years total HR-related experience, with a minimum of 7 years in HR management roles.

PHR is required, SPHR preferred


Additionally, the Director, Human Resources should be an experienced leader and human resource manager with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the energy services sector. The final candidates will be an energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. He/she should be a strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus. Finally, the Director, Human Resources should be a well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player; an intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
