Daniel A. Juraschek, pastor, human resources director

Mr. Juraschek, a Purcellville resident, spent 15 years as an employment services supervisor in Arlington County’s Department of Human Services before joining Cascades Technologies in 2006.

He was a pastor at what is now the Community Christian Fellowship Church in Manassas from 1980 to 1991, and he owned a now-defunct Manassas-based construction company, CB Enterprises, from 1987 to 1995.

Daniel Alexander Juraschek was born in Chicago. He moved to the Washington area in the mid-1960s, and he was a 1969 graduate of Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia in 1973 and a master’s degree in theology from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria in 1984.

He was a volunteer with Servants 4 Him, a mission organization in Hamilton, in Loudoun County.

His marriage to Wanda Munsey ended in divorce.

Survivors include five children, Daniel E. Juraschek of Charles Town, W.Va., Nathaniel Juraschek of Olathe, Kan., Millie Shipe of Charlottesville, Amanda Balas of Charleston, S.C., and Bethany Juraschek of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; his mother, Marcia Juraschek of Dumfries; two brothers, Paul Juraschek of Dedham, Mass., and David Juraschek of Woodbridge; two sisters, Marla Rommelmeyer of Fredericksburg and Rose-Marie L’Etoile of Warrenton; and six grandchildren.
